| Program description: | Robin Brickman begins her program with a Power Point tour of her studio and explanation of her working process. Her books are created with a unique hand-sculpted painting technique that is demonstrated with photos and short movies. The combination of art and science is presented first. Then, students create a hand's on project of their own using Ms. Brickman's technique. This assembly is suitable to all ages and abilities and gives students and staff the confidence to hand sculpt paper on their own! |
