Program description: Award winning poet and children’s book author, Darren Sardelli, shows children and young adults the cool side of poetry. Come watch Darren act out his hilarious and witty poetry, find out where he gets his ideas from, and learn how to paint pictures with words. Many will leave this program with a new appreciation for reading and writing. Giggles guaranteed! * Darren's poems are featured in 20 children’s books in the U.S. and England, and dozens of textbooks (worldwide). He's visited more than 600 schools & libraries and his poems have been showcased on Radio Disney, in best selling books on the Scholastic Book List, and are being used in lesson plans all around the world.
