| Program description: | My recent book, BILLY AND MILLY, SHORT AND SILLY, is comprised of thirteen very short stories that can be enjoyed by non-readers, emerging readers and older students who enjoy word play and storytelling. The book has been greeted by starred reviews and recommended as a wonderful introduction to the joys of reading, storytelling, rhyme and language. I have developed a series of activities that revolve around this book and involve interactive, enthusiastic student participation. |
