Program description: An introduction to principles of sound wellness and the use of the voice as an instrument. Participants learn about sacred sound, psychoacoustics, breathing mindfully, cross-cultural mantra, vocalizations and chant. Fun and supportive gestures are taught to support the voice, and the relaxing, meditative state of mind you are capable of entering. Through the use of the voice as a sound portal, multiple benefits occur - emotional, physical benefits and spiritual connections are strengthened. You do not need to be a singer or have any musical background. No wrong note instruments may be demonstrated and available for audience participation.
Space/special requirements: Room with standing and seated space to accommodate 12 - 15 adults.
