Program description: Singer-Pianist-Entertainer and society orchestra leader Mitch Kahn offers a series of programs exploring the vast wealth of the 20th century's Great American Popular Songbook. Whether rollicking through a Cole Porter patter song, poignantly crooning a Henry Mancini ballad or picking up the pace with Sadaka, Manilow or Billy Joel, Mitch's exquisite musical arrangements and superb vocal delivery are guaranteed to keep audiences entranced. Interspersed with history and anecdotes about the songs and their composers, these shows are appropriate for audiences aged young adult through senior (and sing-a-long is part of the fun).
