|Program description:||Presenter in 18th Century dress shares details of the discovery of a Mastodon skeleton in Orange County, NY. A tri-fold display board, 'fossil' tusk, model molars, and small dinosaur skeletons are displayed. Program includes all materials for a miniature archeological dig after the lecture. Were huge bones found along the banks of the Hudson from a giant or mythical monster? It was a national mystery before dinosaurs were known! Children dig and ID what they unearth! Choice of #1 dinosaur egg OR #2 skeleton figure. Use provided charts and books from your display to help with identification. If desired, option #3 is to 'flesh out' dinosaur skeletons using clay.|
